- Classes will select (be assigned) pages from the Pictorial History of St. Albert or from the History Books see (The Black Robe's Vision Volume One Index and The Black Robe's Vision Volume Two Index) to view.
- Students will look at all the pages and select pictures for the class to comment on.
- Teachers will make comments to this post using the name/url option in the "comment as" box for name use the page # and for URL use the web address for the page.
- The teacher will then write comments in the "Post a Comment" box (using the template below) on the following:
- What is the picture about?
- Why the class choose the picture?
- How does it relate to the following Social Studies Questions? If it does not relate state why.
- Grade 1 What was life like back then (the exact date in the story or use founding and jubilee years like 1861 for St. Albert)?
- Grade 2 What has changed since then (mainly use pictures)?
- Grade 3 What was it like to be a global citizen back then? What was their quality of life?
- Grade 4 What does this story say about Alberta?
- Grade 5 What does this say about our Canadian Heritage?
- Grade 7 How does this story relate to the history of Canada, especially western Canada?
